Erik, along with Harry Oomen, is the founder of Oomen & Sweep Advocaten. He spent 11 years at one of the Netherlands’ major law firms, several of which as a partner. Erik epitomizes what Oomen & Sweep Advocaten stands for: a hands-on, down-to-earth mentality combined with top-quality service. His primary focus is on corporate law, with specializations in insolvency law, restructuring, securities, and agricultural (bulb) law. He does not start the clock with every phone call, but as trustee in bankruptcy, keeps a meticulous record of the figures. With a specialized education in financial economics for trustees, he is regularly appointed by the court as a trustee in bankruptcies and as an administrator in suspensions of payments.
