Harry, along with Erik Sweep, is the founder of Oomen & Sweep Advocaten, and for good reason. After many years at one of the Netherlands’ major law firms, including 10 years as a partner, he knew there was a different way. Harry is the engine, the inspiration, and the strategic mind behind our personal, honest, and effective approach. His specializations are corporate & insolvency law, labor law, family & personal law, contract and liability law and disciplinary law. The latter has led to a secondary role as a deputy clerk of the disciplinary board in the Amsterdam district. He is regularly appointed by the court as a trustee in bankruptcies and as an administrator in suspensions of payments. With studies in notarial, tax, and Dutch law, plus nine specialized courses in family, inheritance, and corporate law, he has an answer to almost every legal question.
