Marco Gerritsen is a dedicated lawyer with 30 years of experience in the legal profession. After working for 26 years at one of the major law firms in the Netherlands, of which 20 years as a partner, Marco decided to join Oomen & Sweep Advocaten in 2020. And we are pleased with his decision.
In his daily practice, Marco focuses on corporate law and intellectual property (IP). He is experienced in a wide range of corporate and commercial contract matters. Marco is also known for some high-profile class action lawsuits.
As a partner, Marco is not only a versatile colleague with a creative client base. His joie de vivre, sense of humour and ability to put things into perspective fit well with our DNA. In this context, it is exemplary that for 17 years he has represented the interests of over 6,000 relatives of the victims of the Srebrenica massacre – known as the ‘Mothers of Srebrenica’ – in their legal fight for justice.
